4 Wedding Favour Ideas

Your guests will not leave on the table!

Well lets admit it wedding favours can be expensive especially if you have lots of guests coming to your wedding, it may have crossed your mind, should you really bother with them? Don’t they often get left on the table.

Here are four ideas your guests will love and will take home.

  1. A miniature bottle of your guests favorite tipple, ask on their rsvp card what is their favorite drink them combine with a place card by adding a little tag with their name. I bet most get consumed on your wedding day and guests will love the personal touch. The tags are available as a digital download from Crossvine Designs on Etsy.
  2. Lollipops, who doesn’t love a lollipop. I have sourced two very different types. Belgium white chocolate lollies decorated with sprinkles, flamingos and a mini bar of chocolate. Handmade by Harrisons Bakery on Etsy. Also we have selected a giant boozy raspberry and prosecco lollipop. Available from Holly’s Lollies on Etsy. They offer a range of different alcoholic flavours so there is something for all tastes.
  3. Rainbow chocolate bars, sprinkled with sugar confetti. Adults and children will love it!. Handmade by Rainbow Sweet Treats on Etsy.
  4. Vanilla flavoured iced gems, beautifully handmade with the finest ingredients. A truly nostalgic sweet treat adults and children will love. They would look so cute packaged in stripy sweetie bags.

Fabric Pumpkins
Share:

I hope you loved my previous blog post and were inspired to have a go at making our fabric pumpkins for your wedding.

Tutorial for DIY Fabric Pumpkins.

Here are a couple of ideas for using your pumpkins at your wedding.

Pumpkin Centrepiece

A rustic wood slice as a base with three fabric pumpkins of varying sizes, a rose gold sequin pumpkin, cotton champagne coloured pumpkin embellished with seed beads and sequins and a dainty calico pumpkin decorated with a scattering of seed beads. The table centre has been further enhanced with a couple of sprigs of artificial dusky pink hydrangea, a gold mercury glass votive and a scattering of silk Swarovski crystals for extra sparkle. A simple but oh so beautiful table centre perfect for an autumn bride.

Pumpkin Jewellery Photo Opportunity

If you have planned to have the on trend photo op of having your dress and accessories photographed in your bridal suite then why not photograph your accessories on a few fabric pumpkins.

A large pumpkin is perfect for your wedding tiara or headband while smaller pumpkins look amazing draped in your jewellery.

The accessories featured on the pumpkins are:

Crystal Chic Wedding Headband

Pearl Trio Wedding Earrings

Ideas For The Wedding Send Off!

Wedding Confetti
Share:

What are you planning for your grand exit after the festivities have ended, or you are leaving the church.

Most churches prefer you not to throw paper confetti due to the clean afterwards and rice confetti can be deadly for birds so here are a few alternatives.

Bird Seed Wedding 'Confetti'

Bird Seed Wedding ‘Confetti’

Bird seed is a great green alternative to traditional confetti and whats more the local bird population will clean it up for you.

Bubbles Wedding 'Confetti'

Bubbles Wedding ‘Confetti’

A great photo opportunity is to use wedding bubbles as your send off, the bubbles floating in the air around the bride and groom would make a beautiful photo.

Wedding Sparklers

For a wedding at night or a winter wedding a fantastic idea is wedding sparklers.

They look perfect personalised with the bride and groom name and wedding date.

Wedding Ribbon Wands

If you would prefer your guest not to throw anything at you then another idea is to give each guest a ribbon wand to wave as you leave the church.

These wands are available from Craft Up Your Life and are available in many colour ways.

Petal Confetti

Petal Confetti

Another natural idea is real petal confetti, maybe tie it in with your bouquet flowers.

These are available from Shropshire Petals.

Pom Pom 'Confetti'

And finally a fun idea, throwing wool pom poms, they can be made in any colour way to tie in with your colour scheme and as they are soft they won’t hurt when thrown.
